"The Men's Tour"

This tour designed with men in mind will also entice the ladies.

Your "shot away" from home will find you experiencing the great outdoors as you travel scenic back roads leading to a picturesque lodge for dinner and perhaps overnight accommodations.

8:00 a.m. Your day starts with a Tee off at the "Play Luray!" Golf Course. This challenging 18-hole

sand and grass course sits astride Wolf Creek. The Graneros Blue shale that make up the Blue Hills to the north and the early morning haze of the Smoky Hills welcomes you to a serene setting over looking Wolf Creek Valley.

10:30 a.m. Depart the course

Travel west through Luray and take the scenic black top south to Bunker Hill. As you travel to Bunker Hill, take note of the tumbling down limestone structures, the inspiring countryside sprinkled with wildflowers and singing birds. Enter I-70 and go west to Russell.

11:15 a.m. Depart I-70 at exit 189 and drive west 5 miles on Hwy 40 to the new

Veterans Memorial located on the south side of the golf course. After a short visit, continue driving west to the corner turning North and immediately arrive at the Russell Municipal Golf Course (1054 E. 2nd) located in Memorial Park. The 9-hole Russell Golf Course facility features 3,141 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The course rating is 70.0 and it has a slope rating of 120. 

11:30 a.m. Enjoy lunch in the Club House or under the covered patio

1:00 p.m. Tee off Time
4:30 p.m. Depart the Russell golf course.

Take Hwy 40 west to Hwy 281. Travel 5-miles south to LaSada. Walking into the LaSada Clubhouse is like coming home. The deco of hunting and outdoor artifacts exudes stories to be told. The 3200 sq. ft. room is designed to accommodate both individuals and groups. Relax, shoot clay targets, play horse shoe, watch flat screen TV, use the computer or just lean back and enjoy the quiet beauty of the country side from the patio.

6:30 p.m. Dinner is served
